Valentine's Day Present
Bear with me as I re-post from last Valentine's Day.
He does not take me out to eat much...but he never complains if we have scrambled eggs for supper.
I rarely get a Valentine's card from my hubby...but he always changes the oil in my car.
He rarely buys me candy either...but he always saves the last Twizzler in the package for me.
I do not remember him buying me many cut flowers...but he digs the holes to plant my azaleas.
We do not vacation together very often...but he will travel anywhere I am to change a flat tire on my car.
He sometimes tracks mud in on my clean floors...but he takes his boots off every night at my house.
Finding blessings where they are! He is a steady guy and that's a good thing. Flowers die, candy makes us fat... so he has it all figured out.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute post--real life and a good husband :) Happy Valentines day!
ReplyDeleteThis was certainly priceless...and I am glad you re-posted it! You have a gem of a hubby! I don't ever get flowers, either, but frankly I don't want them on Valentine's Day...I'd rather get them some other time. I don't get them then either, but my hubby is like yours...a gem! A thousand priceless acts of love mean more than gold!
ReplyDeleteGood on you. Ray is a bit the same and I have felt mean lately for looking at hubby's who do so much for their wives.. actually ours probably do as well as theirs, they just do it differently.
ReplyDeleteA hug from me to you. xxx
Love has many faces : )
ReplyDeleteThere are so many ways to show love. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis was wonderful~ it's the little ways that love shows itself, isn't it? And it is all sweet... :)
